A True Masterpiece

What is this younger generation coming to (or, should I have said, to what is this younger generation coming)? When I was young, we walk to school in snow up to our waist, and we knew all about cultural masterpieces like Arthur. These guys could really play guitar man. Now, I see only one review of this timeless album. Kids, get yours minds in gear, and learn about the Kinks (I quoted them in my speech to our graduating class in 1971 ... yes, that’s right, I’m really that old). Believe me, the Kinks are an institution that is as much a part of the British Empire as that minor skirmish with those obtuse colonials across the Atlantic, and this is one of their best albums (maybe even the best of all).
The Kinks most underrated album.

This album can stand toe-to-toe with any of the late 60's masterpieces. It's my personal favorite Kinks album and definitely the high-point of songwriting in The Davies brothers career.
