I had a cassette tape of Shine... The Hits, and I played it on repeat! Then I went to their concert (my first) and this band has been solidified as one of my favorites ever since. This album is my childhood, and it was good.

Overall for my money this is the Newsboys best offering. Chock full of hits!
My faves are, "God is not a secret", "Breakfast", "Take me to your leader", "Reality", and crown jewel, "Lost the plot".

Let me clarify: there are 4 Newsboys albums that I still love and listen to this day. This is the first one. Of course, it has great hits such as Take Me To Your Leader and Breakfast, but there are definitely underrated songs on here such as God Is Not a Secret, Cup ‘O Tea, and Lost the Plot. Buy this album. Totally worth it!
