Walking through Walmart, see new Zac Brown Band cd. Think “oh cool!”, buy cd, play in car on way home, throw up in glovebox halfway there. So disappointing. Took a great band with a great sound, and made them sound like every other hippety hoppity guy out there.
I feel the band’s passion in this album, regardless of genre.
I like most of the songs in this album and I fully support ZBB in doing whatever they want. Not sure why everyone is so upset about what genre this is. I don’t consider this to be country music but I’m not going to be hateful about it.
Love the new music!
I love that they did something new and different than other albums. I wouldn’t classify it country, but I sure would classify it amazing!
Not what I'm used to from the Zac Brown Band

Some of the songs are good, but others, I think I will delete.
They are broadening their base, but I hope they don't forget their roots.
It’s not 100% country and that is alright! Fun grooves, a few classics for sure and then a curve ball. Keep an open mind and don’t box yourself into a mental category you think ZBB should be in. They don’t fit in it!
Different but still killing it as musicians!
Although I’ve hoped for another album like The Foundation, You Get What You Give, or Uncaged, Zac Brown Band has released more albums. Those albums including this one have strayed from the Country Folk sound they once had however, they never have portrayed themselves as just Country and that it what I love about them. The pure talent that this band harnesses together is above all other bands. They are the greatest band of all time! If the ZBB fans think this band has lost their “roots” or “need to come home”, maybe that don’t hear the true musicianship being produced from ZBB. Keep up the great work Zac Brown Band!

The music is bad, but why does it get listed on the country chart? It’s bad pop.
Used to love ZBB, my recommendation is to focus on smaller artists because spoiled kids in their squatted trucks have made country into country pop.
Am I wrong for expecting music labeled “country” to at least resemble country music? I don’t know what this is, but it’s not the ZBB we’ve known and loved.
Whooff.. thats not an easy listen
Honestly, the artist makes the music that they feel comfortable making so for that it’s his music and he can do what he wants. But he shouldn’t expect people to buy it. He can’t be angry that people expect a certain style of music, that doesn’t mean you have to “paint yourself into a corner”, but at least stay somewhat on the path that you have been traveling. my guess is this album will not age well and the band will regret making it part of their legacy. Its just not good. Lots of synthesizers.
